For the first time at an event of this importance the use of the whole national public transport system is included in the ticket, as Andreas Meyer, CEO of SBB AG, tells us. The Combi-ticket is valid for 36 hours. Match-ticket holders can use boats, trains and municipal public transport in all Swiss cities on match-days and for twelve hours afterwards free of charge. Even for visitors without tickets specific travel tickets will be on offer in June 2008, such as a Euro 2008 general subscription and half-tax. In addition the town, regional and international night services will be expanded. |
