Daily Overview Security EURO 2008Daily Overview Security EURO 2008, Friday, 27th June 2008 (mic) BERN - FIRST RESULT OF THE BLUE LIGHT ORGANISATIONS ON THEIR COMMITMENT AT THE EURO 2008: Up to 2700 people of the security forces from the ranges police, fire-brigade, civil protection, medical service and military were on duty at the same time during the EURO 2008 in the county of Berne and thereby contributed to the smooth flow of the major event. An important factor for the entire success was the joint planning and preparation by the involved security forces from the government, the counties and communities.
