In this respect, the border guard corps forms the first security filter in Switzerland. Members of the border guard corps are the first national authority guests from abroad get in touch with. This may either be in air, road or rail traffic, respectively. The corresponding preparations at the major road crossings, the two border stations of Basle as well as at the EuroAirport have timely come to an end.
