Based on agreements with cantonal police authorities, the border guard corps transfers every year a total of 50’000 suspects to the competent police authorities. The detection of nearly 3’000 cross-border drug crimes, 2’000 document forgeries and around 20’000 infractions against the road traffic law further substantiate the record of achievement of the border guard corps. |
